The Midnight Fold, The Volume, Little Prince and Friday’s Fox

Congratulations to The Midnight Fold for their EP Accidentally on Purpose which they launched on Saturday 19th February 2016. We were honoured to be there on the night to help with the celebrations! Great also to be playing alongside Little Prince and the enormous sound of The Volume.

Friday’s Fox, The Skeleton Club, Local Revolution

Nice to see so many friendly faces out at the show on Friday, and always good to be playing with great local talent like The Skeleton Club and Local Revolution.

A couple of quick happy snaps of the other bands:

Filthy Lucre, Silent Duck, Rat Ta’Mango plus Howl n Bones, Kitchen Witch, Lily Mojito

So we again tried to do the impossible and be at two places at once on Saturday to see Filthy Lucre launch their new CD Mara at Jive, with amazing support from Silent Duck and Rat Ta’Mango.

At The Grace Emily, Lily Mojito played their first full-band show, with Howl n Bones and Kitchen Witch.

Seriously, some nights there are just too many great local acts on in Adelaide… we had moderate success at seeing everything, with photos below.

Kitchen Witch, Two Headed Dog, Filthy Lucre

Well, we were certainly not going to miss the launch of Kitchen Witch‘s EP, Trouble. True to form, this turned out to be a huge show! We obtained ourselves a copy of the record and can certainly recommend you do as well

Supporting them on the night was Melbourne trio, Two Headed Dog, and local Adelaide duo, Filthy Lucre.

Appomattox Run, Babes are Wolves, Juliette Seizure and the Tremor Dolls

We slacked off from our recording duties and headed out to see Appomattox Run, Babes are Wolves and Juliette Seizure and the Tremor Dolls tonight. This show will go down in history as “that one where Zoe didn’t have a beer”.

Athletic Teenage Joggers

Athletic Teenage Joggers, The Loobin’ Brothers, Friday’s Fox

It was such a pleasure being asked to support Athletic Teenage Joggers on their farewell show last night. It was an amazing night of friends and fun. Special thanks to the Grace Emily for being great hosts as always!
If the loss of ATJ is too much to bear, we can recommend purchasing multiple copies of their album, Hello Demons, which can be found on Bandcamp.

Finally, a shout out to Mark and Jeremy Loobin’, collectively The Loobin’ Brothers, for getting us warmed up. A few photos are below.
